PORTLAND, MAINE (February 26, 2010) – McClain Marketing Group, a strategic marketing solutions firm with offices at 75 Washington Avenue in Portland, today announced that it received 17 awards in the Seventh Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) national competition. Six were Gold Awards (All Creatures/logo letterhead design; Flotation Technologies/new media interactive timeline; Kennebec Federal Savings/single newspaper ad; Maine Street Solutions/logo letterhead design; McClain Interactive/website; McClain Marketing Group/Look Book capabilities); five were Silver (Flotation Technologies/single magazine ad; Goods of Conscience/new media e-newsletter; Kennebec Federal Savings/single radio ad; McClain Interactive/new media emails; Verrill Dana/logo letterhead design); two were Bronze (Clark Insurance/website; Newagen Seaside Inn/logo letterhead design); and four were Merit Awards (Clark Insurance/single magazine ad; Maine Street Solutions/website; Verrill Dana/holiday card; McClain Interactive/logo letterhead design).
Over 1,400 entries from more than 300 advertising agencies and 900 institutions throughout the country were received for this year’s awards competition. A national panel of judges evaluated and rated entries in 12 groups and 27 categories. Every entry was reviewed for execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal, and overall “breakthrough” advertising content.
